OAS100 - Object Alarm System Node

The OAS100 is a specialized Sensicast H900 network node that uses a force-sensitive resistor touch sensor which can detect touches and lifts of artwork. With its active touch detection algorithms, the OAS100 can support up to two touch sensors per node. Each node port supports ten (10) settings for touch sensitivity which are remotely configurable, eliminating any additional handling of artwork once the node is installed. Upon an alarm condition, a local "beep" alert can be triggered and a wireless notification can be sent to the central security office. The OAS100 transmits alerting information, low battery information, and supervisory information to the security office.

The OAS100 supports a completely wireless, self-configuring, self-healing, power managed sensor network and is a component of a Sensicast H900 wireless sensor network.
